 Our website is now updated! What a year it has been.  We have started to produce our own sausages and bacon and Steve has been trying out home butchery with the aid of our travelling Butcher friend Matt. The pigs have been producing well and we have managed to breed ginger spotty pigs from our Tamworths. Selby the goat died of old age but has been repaced with three pygmy goats that we hope to breed next year.  Simmie has been successful with some running duck eggs and we now have four very comical ducks running around the place.

We were very sad to have lost our friend Jon to cancer who was looking after our website as well as having erected most of our post and rail fencing. Jon has helped us so much here at Elm Vale and was a good drinking buddy too. We miss his grin and he won’t be forgotten.

In line with our biosecurity programme we cannot accept any visitors unless by prior appointment, but please give us a call as we’re not as unfriendly as this sounds!
