Elm Vale Cottage

Elm Vale Cottage was bought by Steve and Simmie Huntley-Jones in November 2006. It was a bare canvas when we bought it but instantly we had lots of plans for it – we wanted to produce as much of our meat and home grown produce as possible – we had plenty of space to do it.

To date we have got the grounds properly fenced, topped and generally cleaned up as shown by the photographs.

We have designed a very good pig area with well planned pens leading to a corridor which allows easy movement of pigs into new pens or into trailers or if need be vetinary inspection/treatment.  We currently have 2 Tamworth sows which we inherited with Elm Vale and also have 4 Gloucester Old Spot sows, our young boar, Harrison, and piglets in various quantities which are either sold as breeding stock at 8 weeks old or grown on for meat production.  Please see our price list if you are interested in purchasing our rare breed pork meat.
